Sometimes being a music photographer is hard work. Sometimes you wait for two and a half hours to get 10 minutes in the pit. Sometimes security give you hassle (but sometimes they don't) Sometimes the lighting is so awful you could cry. Sometimes you wonder why you bother. And then sometimes you get to sit in the front pew, of a tiny, beautiful church, at a sold-out-long-ago gig, to watch one of your favourite musicians perform songs from what surely must be a contender for Album Of The Year. Sometimes the photos go up and you get an e-mail from said musicians 'people' requesting to use one of your photos. Sometimes you remember why you do this...
